The Story Behind Laxmi-Vasudeo Award

 

The most prestigious Laxmi-Vasudeo Puraskar was initiated and is conferred on to outstanding personalites of Indian Culture from the year 2009, in pious memory of Gurudev Abhyankar’s parents – true embodiments of pure character, knowledge and devotion. Pt. Vasudeoshastri was a great Vedic scholar and Sou. Laxmibai was an idol of unflinching devotion. Shree Laxmi-Vasudeo Award comprises of Memento of Saraswati, Citation, Shawl and INR 1 Lac.
